Way to go, Joe Harrison Carter!

We could not be prouder of the teaching and learning happening throughout this school! Today's walkthroughs were a wonderful reminder of the dedication, preparation, and hard work our JHC staff put into making a difference for students every single day.

We saw high expectations, intentional and engaging direct instruction, and vocabulary instruction that was truly out of this world! From students actively using math manipulatives and participating in hands-on science experiments to strong, purposeful phonics instruction, learning was happening at every turn.

What stood out most was the level of student engagement, the thoughtfulness behind instruction, and the commitment of teachers to ensuring students are challenged, supported, and learning at high levels. Our staff are creating classrooms where students are thinking, talking, exploring, asking questions, and growing as learners.

Keep setting the bar high, Cards! We are proud of you!
